kayak“It does not matter how slowly you go. So long as you do not stop.”

-Confucius

This quote by Confucius pretty much says it all for me. My mantra these days is keep moving forwardI am at the half way point in my third 30 Day Passion Project led by the amazingly creative Laura West. Check out Laura’s website at www.joyfulbusiness.com. I highly recommend any of Laura’s programs. So what is a 30 Day Passion Project? It is a 30 day teleclass which meets twice a week and the participants are women entrepreneurs from all over the US and a few from around the world. Each one of us picks a Passion Project and we commit to working on it for 30 days. My project this time is to get all the pieces together for my first virtual retreat. Each day I do something toward my Passion Project. Many times it’s a baby step, a small movement and I keep telling myself that as long as I am moving, I am making progress one day at a time. The leap for me in this project is to embrace the technology involved. I have led live retreats and feel comfortable with that venue. A virtual retreat is done on the phone using a conference/bridgeline that the participants call into. I am so excited about this project and at the same time I am experiencing some fear about the new format. So every day I put one foot in front of the other and I keep moving forward with my business and my life. What about you?

Where in your life do you want to move forward? What is one small step you can take today in the direction of your dreams? Who will support you in taking this step? How will you feel when you take a baby step or a big bold step to help you move forward in your life? What have you been resisting?

I invite to join me at The Artist’s Way class starting on September 21 and/or Living in Prosperity and Creating a Life of Enough starting on September 14. You will learn tools in each of these classes which will help you to keep moving forward. Details are on my website. http://nancyjambor.com/classes/

Even if the scale shows a loss of .2 pounds, I consider Weight Watchers a success! I think I should try to use this in the rest of my life too. Great post!

What a great tool this is! I keep singing “put one foot in front of the other….”. Good luck with your project and can’t wait to hear more about it.

Having a support group–like you have for this passion project–is always a helpful motivator for me. Nice to read about what you’ve been working on. I will be in touch soon!

Sometimes in life I can get so caught up in where I need to be and how soon, I often forget such a simple mantra and way of life. Thanks for reminding me to hurry up and wait. 🙂

Thanks Debbie. Yes, those baby steps are the best. Turtle wisdom is so wise. Here’s what my Animal Medicine book says about turtle. If you have chosen the Turtle symbol, you are being asked to honor the creative source within you, to be grounded to the Earth, and to observe your situation with motherly compassion. Turtle buries its thoughts, like its eggs, in the sand, and allows the sun to hatch the little ones. This teaches you to develop your ideas before bringing them out in the light.

Baby steps, baby steps! I don’t think I would ever get anything done…if not for those ‘baby steps’! I love the quote…..it has very special meaning to me as I just discovered one of my animal totems is a turtle!

Thanks for sharing the following quote by Martin Luther King Jr. Sacha. “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr. It speaks to me today.
