lighthouseI will be speaking at a networking meeting on February 12th and my topic is Living a Purposeful Passionate Life. For me, it’s about being excited to begin my day, feeling energized about the work I do and making a difference in the world. I am passionate about helping women to step into their power, to find their voice, to let their light shine, to have the life they have always imagined. Living a purposeful life asks me to be fearless. In 2014 I stepped into my power in a big way. In February I launched my first website and started blogging for the first time. I have taken huge leaps in terms of technology and it’s been so empowering. In October I led my first retreat, developed an 18 page booklet for the participants, took a huge leap of faith and jumped into the unknown. Intuitively, I knew that leading retreats was part of living a purposeful life for me. One of my affirmations is “I am on my right and perfect path.” Julia Cameron says the following in her ground breaking book, The Artist’s Way, “We like to pretend it is hard to follow our heart’s dreams. The truth is, it is difficult to avoid walking through the many doors that will open. We say we are scared by failure, but what frightens us more is the possibility of success. Take a small step in the direction of a dream and watch the synchronous doors flying open.”

What about you? What are you passionate about? What are you called to do? What is life asking of you? What does it mean to you to live a purposeful life? I would love to hear from you about this topic!

Nancy, thanks for the reminder of Julia Cameron’s thoughts on synchronicity. I needed to hear this today. 🙂

I am passionate about not taking life so seriously and showing others how to do the same … with lots of fun and play along the way 🙂

Thanks for sharing Kama. Isn’t it affirming when we hear from people that we’ve helped them, made a difference?

Sorry Hema, I was responding to your post and accidentally typed in Kama’s name. I have no idea how to go back in and edit after I post something:)

I want to coach, I want to be able to support my family with my own company, I want to be in charge of my company. I am a great person, love art, love being inspired, love inspiring others. I am such a positive person and want to bring that positivity to others. I want to write a book, to inspire others to take care of themselves.
