Living JuicyLiving Juicy Daily Morsels for your Creative Soul by SARK is one of my favorite books. I am a huge fan of hers and own a number of her books. I like the simplicity of her sayings, the childlike quality and vibrant colors of her artwork and the gems of wisdom she dishes out. Here’s an example from Living Juicy: June 3 – “JOY is the natural result of enjoying. There is so much to enjoy! I believe that the more we can enjoy ourselves and others, the more we can accomplish, help and create. We must come from a place of fullness in order to be our highest, most Joy.Full selves. Whenever I find myself not enjoying, I ask, Why?”

Here’s another of my favorites: May 22 – Celebrate With Children. “Children are natural at celebration. They move into it spontaneously by jumping, screaming, giggling and cartwheeling. What is mud puddle stomping but a celebration of rain? Worm digging but a celebration of dirt? Web watching but a celebration of spiders? Remember how you felt when you first rode a bike all alone? Celebration of autonomy! I remember trying to tell time for so long, and then celebrating by telling time constantly – to everyone. Find a child and celebrate together.” Yesterday, my 5 year old granddaughter, Ana, and I planted 2 pots of flowers to celebrate spring. It was messy, joyful, fun, creative and collaborative. We had so much fun! What can you celebrate today with a child? How can you let your inner child celebrate more often? What do you want to celebrate today?
