supergirlSometimes my vision can be so limited. I often think the only outcomes are the ones I can imagine. Not true! When I feel stuck and can’t see the way forward it’s because I am fearful. What’s the answer? Faith is the answer! Opening myself to possibilities, saying yes to opportunities that are presented to me, being willing to ask for help and trusting the Universe and my Higher Power. Faith takes practice and one of the mantras I use is “I am on a faith walk.” Fear and faith cannot exist in the same thought. The reading for today in Daily Word is about strength. The reading says “My true nature is one of unlimited potential. I am ready to grow the seed of greatness within me. I deny the power of self-limiting behaviors and patterns. I stand strong in my faith.” I have a great visual I use when I want to connect with my faith and my power. It’s Super Girl standing with hands on hips and legs in a wide open stance. Here’s what I say to myself,  “I am strong and capable and I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.”

What about you? Do you ever let fear keep you stuck in self-defeating behavior? If yes, what is one small step you can take today to move from fear to faith? What are you capable of when you let go of self-limiting thoughts? Where in your life are you looking for change and transformation?

Thanks for your comments Elda! I have a few affirmations about faith which really help me to stay focused on faith and not fear. I am on a Faith walk, I am calmly faithful, I am faithful; full of faith and I am walking in faith today.

Great post! I appreciate the comment/reminder that fear and faith can not be in the same thought. I have gotten in the habit of reminding myself that ‘I am love’ and one can not be in a state of love and state of fear at the same time. When people question me about certain things, my favorite answer is that I have faith.

Thanks Kelly. Wow! You mean we can actually make money from our blogs. I would love to brainstorm with you about that. Give that fear a big kick in the ass and just do it Kelly. We are super women!!

Oh my goodness yes. I do have battles with buckets of fear. Fear of failure about the changes I need to make on my blog in order for it to enable me to actually make money on it, is high on my list right now. I know I need to kick that fear in the ass and just get down to it. I’ll think of you and super girl as my inspiration!

Thanks Nanette. I can relate to the feeling of overwhelm. What works well for me is prioritizing and chunking it down into small bites as you mentioned.

A good reminder, Nancy. I love the Daily Word. I used to read that quite often when I went to Unity, several decades ago. It always is such beautiful, thoughtful words. Thanks for the great imagery, SuperWoman and all!

Thanks for your thoughts on this topic, Nancy. Great image! Fear is a lesser issue for me than overwhelm (too many open projects makes it hard to know where to start sometimes), but I suppose you could argue both come from the same place. I think small bites helps in both cases.

I like the image of a Supergirl-but I changed my image to a superwoman. 😉 But I know I can’t do everything-but I’d like to have faith that everything I do do, is done well. Here’s to faith and self-love, all aided by support from family and friends.
