butterflyEver wonder what it would feel like to soar like a bird, riding the wind currents, soaring high above the clouds, dipping, darting, diving, gliding along effortlessly? Ever wonder what it would feel like to be a butterfly emerging from its cocoon and taking flight? Like the butterfly we can leave our old life behind and emerge into a brand new way of being. It’s about letting go of old thought patterns, ideas and habits that keep us from fully expressing the beauty of who we are. It’s about letting go of fear of failure, negative thinking, self defeating behaviors. It’s about  embracing thoughts of abundance, prosperity, unlimited good, being in the flow of our lives. In her best selling book, The Artist’s Way, Julia Cameron states that “What we really want to do is what we are really meant to do. When we do what we are meant to do, money comes to us, doors open for us, we feel useful, and the work we do feels like play to us.”

Daring to soar, to fly high, to be all that we were created to be requires great courage. Sometimes it requires a leap of faith, jumping without seeing the net and believing that it will appear. In order to soar we must clear away the barriers within which keep us from taking that leap of faith.

What about you? What next step are you avoiding? What dream are you ignoring?  What self defeating behaviors do you need to let go of? How do you limit abundance in your life? How can you have the life that you have only imagined? How can you give yourself permission to soar today?

Keep firing out these posts Nancy. I need the reminders! Have a long term goal that I’m putting off and a fussy job I need to do today. Going to go work on the fussy one. Thank you!

Thanks for your comments Kelly. Sometimes when I find myself procrastinating, I set up a little reward at the end of the project, seems to help:) Good luck with that long term goal!
