The group was created by Carolyn Jones to remind us that every day there is always something to feel grateful for. Each day members share their inspiration, wisdom and gratitude and I feel good when I read the various posts. My spirit is lifted and I am reminded of how much I have in my life to be grateful for. My attitude of gratitude releases a powerful flow of good energy in all areas of my life. As I focus on gratitude, I seek out new opportunities, I am willing to try new things, I am open to taking risks. Gratitude keeps my focus on the positive, the glass half full, the possibilities that await me. As some of you know I write Morning Pages every day, three pages of stream of consciousness writing. It is a practice from the book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. Gratitude comes up in my pages on a regular basis. If I am feeling any sort of lack or limitation, I write about it and a shift occurs. I ask myself the question, what am I grateful for today? There is so much to be grateful for, my health, my family, friends, my clients, doing work that I love and so much more. I appreciate the many gifts I have been given today.

“If the only prayer you said in your life was thank you, that would suffice.” -Meister Eckhart

What about you? What are you grateful for today? How can you develop an attitude of gratitude? What are the gifts available to you when you come from a place of gratitude? Please share your thoughts on gratitude with me. I love to hear from you!

I totally agree with you on this Nancy. An attitude of gratitude or gratitude practice can make such a significant difference in one’s life. It’s an energetic opener, and invites more and more good things into your consciousness to notice. And how can that be anything but a good thing? I wish everyone understood that.

Today I’m grateful for some wonderful time spent in my studio; for fabulous iced-coffee concoctions on this very very hot day; and for a beautiful message from a client that really touched my heart.

I am grateful for us having a chance to meet with you yesterday and catch up.

AND I am grateful for taking your Artist’s Way class. What an important life changing habit this has been for me. Your enthusiasm for this process during class was pivotal in me making time for this daily exercise of writing Morning Pages. THANK YOU!!!

Thanks Deborah! So true, a gratitude practice opens us up energetically to more good flowing into our lives. Isn’t it lovely when we get that validation/acknowledgment from clients? Truly a day brightener:)

Elda, I too am so grateful that we were able to spend some quality time together. Thank you for your kind words about my Artist’s Way class. It was a gift to have you in class and your words of wisdom were a gift to all of us. Morning Pages do make a difference in how I start my day and that’s why I keep doing them. It’s such a great way to get centered, grounded, and heading in a good positive direction:) Thanks for your comments!
