I returned last night from a 4 day Women’s Retreat on the North Shore of beautiful Lake Superior. During the retreat there was powerful learning, delightful dancing, joyful singing, spirited drumming and most of all words of wisdom from women. The words of women are Powerful! The words of women are Inspiring! The words of women are Courageous! The words of women are Amazing! The words of women are Beautiful! The words or women are Alive! The words of women are Daunting! The words of women are Energizing! The words of women are Funny! The words of women are Gleeful! The words of women are Hilarious! The words of women are Hopeful! The words of women are Insightful! The words of women are Jubilant! The words of women are Kind! The words of women are Loving! The words of women are Moving! The words of women are Nurturing! The words of women are Organic! The words of women are Profound! The words of women are Quiet! The words of women are Resilient! The words of women are Soulful! The words of women are Tenacious! The words of women are Undeniable! The words of women are Victorious! The words of women are Wise! The words of women are full of Yearning! The words of women are Zesty!
The next time you are feeling stuck, out of balance, grumpy, frazzled, overwhelmed, confused, out of sorts, listen to the words of women. Listen to your own words, listen to the words of the great grandmothers, the grandmothers, the mothers. Listen to the wisdom of women.
